ABOUT WARRIOR-SCHOLAR PROJECT

The Warrior-Scholar Project (WSP) hosts college preparatory “academic boot camps” at America’s top universities to unlock the full educational potential of veterans transitioning from the military to college. Since launching the program at Yale University in 2011, WSP has expanded to twelve campuses nationwide and served 489 transitioning veterans, or “warrior-scholars”.

WSP has received national media coverage from sources such as ESPN and the Los Angeles Times in the process.  With the recent expansion, we are in need of a Curriculum Manager to solidify and strengthen our position as the nation’s leading education and training program to prepare veterans for the next chapter of their lives in academia.  The Curriculum Manager will oversee the maintenance, coordination, and execution of a rigorous academic curriculum that supports a national organization with a proven model of success and significant pledged annual financial support from private sources and the federal government.  For more information about WSP, visit http://www.warrior-scholar.org

ORGANIZATION’S CURRENT ANNUAL REVENUE:  Approximately $1-$2 million

ABOUT THE CURRICULUM MANAGER

Reporting directly to the Executive Director (ED), the Curriculum Manager has operational responsibility for WSP’s humanities curriculum, and acts as a liaison between WSP staff and the various university faculty and staff.
